Despite the long day of travel yesterday, I rose early and felt surprisingly refreshed. Around 7 AM, the rains came and dumped a lot of water on Lakewood Ranch and surrounding areas. After it let up, I took Ripley out for our usual walk. For an English Retriever, Ripley looks more like a Chocolate Lab after a walk post-rain. 

She looks especially happy to be home and exercising her animal instincts of adopting an earthly smell.
