It’s Monday, and it rained. It rained some more and then rained into the evening. 

Sometimes, I find the rain pleasant because the cloud cover offers some relief from the sun. However, today, it was fitting because I notified my leader of my intentions to leave the organization. His reply was curious but also heartening: He asked me to think about it for another 24 hours. I agreed.
